The Beethoven Club of Cedar Rapids, formed in 1921, is a not for profit organization open to all with an interest in music. Its purpose is to:
Foster and promote the art of music and musical interests.
Create a deeper desire for things musical among its members and in the community.
Assist visiting musician with their work in the greater Cedar Rapids community.
Encourage interest in serious music among young people by whatever means seem appropriate and desirable, such as sponsorship of incentives to further study through an awards program.
The Beethoven Club generally meets at the Scottish Rite Temple, 616 A Avenue, Cedar Rapids, IA.
